PURPOSE:To obtain a dubbing signal with which a reproduced color difference line sequential signal is subject to dubbing recording as a high definition picture by providing a dubbing signal output means demodulating a color difference line sequential signal read from a recording medium and outputting it as the dubbing signal. CONSTITUTION:A switch 23 is thrown to the position P in the reproducing mode and a signal on a disc 24 is led to a preamplifier 31 via a head MH, demodulated by demodulation circuits 35, 36 and a luminance signal and a color difference signal are obtained. An output of the circuits 35, 36 is converted into an NTSC signal or an R, G, B signal at an output processing circuit 39 as an interpolating means via a Y process circuit 37 and a C process circuit 38 respectively. When a dubbing switch 40 is thrown to the position of dubbing, the interpolation processing at the circuit 39 is stopped and the luminance signal and the color difference line sequential signal not subject to interpolation are outputted as the dubbing signal from an output terminal D.OUT as a dubbing signal output means. |
