PURPOSE:To enhance lubrication performance by rotating an oil quantity accelerating member by making use of the difference in rotation between a transfer center shaft and a rear side transfer output shaft when the transfer center shaft is rotated, and thereby sucking oil to the transfer center side. CONSTITUTION:When a four wheel drive vehicle is running, if there exists the difference in rotation between each front and each rear wheel in response to a running condition (the rotation speed of a transfer center shaft 14> the rotation speed of a rear wheel side transfer output shaft 58), the difference in rotation is caused between an oil quantity accelerating member 76 press fitted in the engaging hole section 78 of the center shaft 14 and the output shaft 58, so that the oil quantity accelerating member 76 is rotated relatively with respect to the connection passage of the output shaft 58. Since the oil quantity accelerating member 76 is formed into a left twisted spiral. shape, oil within an oil chamber 70 is led to the engaging hole section 78 side at the center shaft 14 side, and oil within the engaging hole section 78 is then fed to a center differential gear 6 by means of centrifugal force through a communication hole section 82. |
