The mould model for each filling is formed directly on the tooth in the mouth of the patient. To make the model, a plastic material which is light-hardened and inflammable is used, and inserted into the mouth on the tooth. - Once the model is formed, it is removed from the mouth of the patient, and used to form the actual mould for the crown. USE/ADVANTAGE - To simplify and improve the formation of models used to make moulds for tooth fillings crowns and bridges. |
