<p>PURPOSE:To keep off such a case as being oblivious of taking action even in time of jam happening in plural spots, by setting up a device, indicating it when the jam happens, directly in the desired spot along a passage of a transfer material of a picture forming device of an electronic copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:In a copying machine B, transfer paper being fed one byone out of either of a cassette C1 or C2 is tranferred at a proximity transfer position of a sensitive body 1, then fixed at a fixing part 3 by way of a conveying passage 2 and discharge outside the machine. In a suchlike device, each sensor is set up such spots where a jam is relatively liable to happen, namely, a paper feeding part 6, a conveying part 7, a fixing part 8, a double-face detecting part 10, a double-face conveyance detecting part 11, a PD detecting part 12 and a paper feeding part 13. On-off operations of these sensors 6-13 ar controlled by a display control part 15, and each of corresponding display elements 17-24 goes on and off. In addition, the display control part 15 is connected to a display part 16, and when the jam occurs in either of the spots, the display part 16 indicates this occurrence, thus each spot of jam happening is directly sightable.</p> |
