PURPOSE:To accurately rotate rapidly at the normal time by applying a voltage higher than the minimum voltage for generating a normal rotation starting torque and lower than the minimum voltage for generating a reverse rotation electromotive torque to a stator winding. CONSTITUTION:A 3-phase brushless motor 1 is driven through a switching power source 4 by an inverter 2. The inverter 2 is controlled by the outputs of the terminals O5-O10 of a microprocessor 3, the power source 4 is controlled at the output voltage in 16 stages by the signals of the terminals O1-O4 to alter the rotating speed of the motor 1. In this case, a starting voltage setter 7 is provided. Thus, the voltage at the starting time is arbitrarily set by matching to the motor 1. The voltage is set to the voltage for generating a torque higher than the starting torque when a load is mounted at the normal rotation time and lower than the starting torque at reverse rotation time, and applied as a starting voltage. |
