PURPOSE:To appropriately control the amount of ventilation to aim at saving energy and purifying air in the passenger's compartment in a vehicle, by detecting contamination in air inside and outside of the passenger's compartment with the use of inside and outside air sensors to control a member for opening and closing an air inlet port for air outside of the passenger's compartment, a device for introducing air into the passenger's compartment and a device for venting air. CONSTITUTION:When the contamination of air outside of the passenger's compartment, which is detected by an outside air sensor 8, is above a predetermined degree, a first control means 14A delivers its output signal to a drive circuit 15 to close an opening and closing member 9 while when the detected contamination of air outside of the component, is below the predetermined degree, a second control means 14B delivers its output signals for controlling the operations of drive circuits 15 through 17 for the opening and closing member 9, an air introduction member 1 and an air venting member 6 in accordance with the detected contamination. Further, when the selected mode is the Hi mode, an opening and closing member 10 is opened to operate the air introduction member 1 at a large air introducing capacity and as well to operate the air venting member 6. Upon Me mode the opening and closing member 10 is opened to operate the air introduction member 1 at a small air introducing capacity and as well to operate the air venting member 6. Upon Lo mode the member 10 is opened but the devices 1, 6 are rested. |
