The invention relates to a machine for palletising reels (2) made from webs, such as webs of roofing material, paper, plastic, fabric, fibreglass etc., which in each case deposits a predetermined number of reels (2) parallel to one another by means of a pivoting device from a horizontal position into a vertical position on a pallet (9). In order to produce a machine of this type, which does not just have a simple and clearly visible structure, but also permits the trouble-free and rapid loading of pallets with rows of reels, it is proposed according to the invention that the machine have a plate conveyor belt (3) which is arranged transversely to the running direction of the reels (2) and downstream of which, looking in the conveying direction, is arranged the transport trolley (4) which resembles a sack trolley, is used as the pivoting device and is provided, on its end facing away from the wheels (5), with arms (6) which are bent upwards and the free ends of which are connected to a pulling carriage (7) which is mounted on a conveying element (8) which can reciprocate in a frame (10) above the movement region of the transport trolley (4) between the delivery end of the plate conveyor belt (3) and the end of the pallet (9) to be loaded in each case. <IMAGE>
