The invention relates to a hammer head in which the block part defined on one side by an impact surface contains the location opening, extending from the bottom side to the top side, for the hammer handle, the hammer head being provided with at least one further insertion opening for inserting and holding thin-shank working agents, side slots and/or bores being arranged as the further insertion openings in the block part, which essentially extend from the top side to the bottom side of the block part and the clear width or diameter of which is dimensioned in such a way that the shank of a wall anchor (DIN 1053 or 18515) can be inserted.
