摘要 FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: prior to securing the rings with magnetic field, compensators are introduced in spaces between ring face and magnetic table surface at curved places. After ring is secured by magnetic flux it is ground with cutting force P<SB>z</SB> less than force required for ring deformation in axial direction. Second face of ring is worked in standard modes without compensators. First rings with asymmetric profile of cross-section are arranged on magnetic table with face having the least area. Compensator is made of nonmagnetic hardened steel in the form of asymmetric wedge with two edges. supporting and working ones. First edge engages magnetic table surface and second edge engages face of ring being worked. Conicity of working edge to supporting edge is 1:100. Thickened surface of wedge is bent towards working edge at angle of 45 deg. It has two-sided knurl for convenient handling. EFFECT: removed nonproductive losses of time for measurements. 3 cl, 6 dwgd
