PURPOSE:To reduce the wt. of an evaporator as a whole by reducing the thickness of each partition plate, by minimizing the pressure receiving areas of partition plates in an evaporation casing and a condensation casing. CONSTITUTION:An evaporation casing 16 is partitioned by partition walls 14 with orifices and the interior thereof is further partitioned into condensation casings 21 by partition plates 19 while the casings 21 are mutually communicated by communication pipes. By this structure, the pressure receiving areas of the partition plates in the evaporation casing and the condensation casings can be minimized and the plate thickness of each partition plate is reduced and the wt. of the evaporator can be reduced as a whole. |
