PURPOSE:To obtain a combination mold assembly capable of molding a molded piece of medium or larger size and a molded piece of small size in combination, in good quality and inexpensively. CONSTITUTION:The mold assembly consists of subsidiary cavities 2A-2D around a main cavity 1, a resin runner 15 connecting from a sprue 10 abutting the nozzle of an extruder to the main cavity 1 and the subsidiary cavities 2A- 2D, the valve 16 capable of adjusting or cutting off the section area of the runner 15, the radiator 12 arranged to the main core part, the subsidiary core hole engaging with the subsidiary cavity hole around said main core part, the ejector 12 arranged to the main core part and the ejector 13 put at the end of the subsidiary core hole. Blocked subsidiary cavities and subsidiary cores, which are different moldings from the main cavities, are inserted into the subsidiary cavity holes and core holes and the main cavity and the subsidiary cavities are molded at one shot. |
