<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC with the internal information protecting circuit which can protect internal information with high security when the IC is unsealed. SOLUTION: Photodetecting elements 11 are dispersed and arranged to disable logic circuits and logic elements to operate normally in an unsealed state through the operation of the photodetecting elements 11, specially, the internal logic to be analyzed by an electron beam tester etc. When the whole IC 10 is shielded after being unsealed, no current is generated by the photodetecting elements 11, but a circuit which couples memory cells with the photodetecting elements 11 is adopted to store the unsealed state.</p> |
