PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode having a high response speed, high detecting sensitivity and excellent durability by adhering a porous film to an electrode body by means of a crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed amt. of an enzyme treating liquid contg. glucose oxidase, albumin and glutaraldehyde as a crosslinking agent 17 is coated on the surface of, for example, a pretreated platinum plate electrode 15 and thereafter a porous film (polycarbonate film, about 1-12mum pore size) 16 is put thereon, by which the electrode for fixing a physiologically active material adhered with the porous film to the electrode 15 is obtd. The film 16 is therefore held always in tight contact with the electrode 15 and no spaces are formed between both. The electrode for fixing a physiologically active material having the high response speed in the stage of measurement and high detection sensitivity is thus obtd. |
