Prism-type linear system

Linear system consisting of guide rods that can be secured as desired and on which equipment and apparatus that move along the linear system are mounted at requisite sites. The linear system is characterised in that the guide rods are made of square steel bars, which run parallel to one another and whose surfaces are at an angle of 45 degrees to the guide plane and are held and clamped in this position by two prismatic clamping parts. In addition, the prismatic clamping part clamps together in a transitionless and precise manner the ends of pairs of square bar steel sections engaging head to head, so that as many guide rods as desired can be clamped in a parallel manner behind one another, next to one another and above one another. The square steel bar may be machined at the edges as a toothed rack and a prismatic roller with a 90 degree groove runs over the edge, whether complete or toothed, which roller is secured by an eccentrically adjustable roller holder on a plate that carries a prism brake that acts on the square bar material.
