Laboratory dryer

In order, in a laboratory dryer for web-shaped materials, to be able to determine the times for drying, heating up and dwelling, the surface temperature of the product to be dried is continuously measured with an infrared sensor. The times can then be read off from the temperature plot recorded as a function of time by a line recorder. Additionally or alternatively, given details can be recorded with second counters which are automatically started on insertion of the product to be dried and stopped by adjustable limit monitors on the temperature indicator.
