Automatically closing gate, especially barrier gate for agricultural working areas or the like, which, at one side edge extending essentially vertically, is to be articulated to a fixed abutment, in such a way that it is pivotable out of a closing position about a vertical pivot axis into an opening position extending essentially at right angles to the closing position, there being arranged on at least one side of the gate a projecting actuating switch for a compressed-air source which is located on the gate and which is connected via an air line to a pneumatic piston/cylinder unit articulated at one end on the fixed abutment and at its other end on an extension projecting horizontally from the gate, whilst, when the actuating switch is actuated, the piston/cylinder unit lying in an essentially horizontal plane can be subjected to compressed air from the compressed-air source via the air line (Figure 1). <IMAGE> |
