发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPTICAL EVALUATION OF COMBUSTION PARAMETER
摘要 PURPOSE:To put a high-precision optical detecting method to practical use by dividing spectral components which correspond to a combustion parameter and have much light emission and other spectral components, and converting the intensity of each component into the quantity of electricity proportional and comparing it with a reference value. CONSTITUTION:When mixed gas is ignited in a combustion chamber 1 by the spark discharge of an ignition plug 2, the combustion expands to the periphery with time and normal combustion of relatively short wavelength with superior power advances. Then, an electrical signal corresponding to it is extracted through a color filter, optical fiber 11, and photoelectric converter 13, and an amplifier 15 is driven for a necessary period with the control signal of a continuity angle and measured angle calculating circuit 29, thereby obtaining the electrical signal corresponding to the normal combustion. When the pressure in the chamber rises, knocking due to self-ignition occurs and the wavelength becomes relatively long; and an electrical signal is extracted through a color filter 10, optical fiber 12, and photoelectric converter 14 and an electric signal corresponding to the knocking is obtained by an amplifier 16. Consequently, a stable knocking level is detected regardless of variation in the quantity of incident light.
