<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve agitation and dispersion effects by lower power and to miniaturize an agitating device as a whole. SOLUTION: In a device for agitating sewage by disposing an impeller 6 provided on a driving shaft 5 extended from a drive 4 in a submerged cylindrical casing 7, an outer tube driving shaft 12 is provided on the outer periphery of the shaft 5 and an impeller 13 is fixed on the edges of the shafts 12 and 5 as a twofold impeller so that they are adversely rotated. A reverse funnel- shaped air chamber 21 having plural opened air diffusing holes at the bottom is provided inside the casing near the bottom of the shaft 5 and is connected to an air supply pipe 22. A water stream pressurized by the impeller 13 of a front stage is flown in the front of the impeller 6 of a subsequent stage so that the elevation angle is enlarged when the fluid is flown in, the peripheral velocity of the subsequent stage with respect to the water is accelerated and the water volume to be discharged is increased.</p> |
