An artificial articulation provides endurance against the torsion applied to the stem, and high-adhesivity between the stem and the bone cement for fixing the stem tightly into the femur. The artificial articulation has a wing (9) projecting length wise from the stem. The wing has a fixing hole (9'), and a number of holes for fixing chains. The surface of the stem is coated with an appropriate thickness of bone cement.
