Self-propelling lifting platform having a telescopic crane comprising a motor assembly 1 and a crane assembly 2 which are mounted on axles 3 and 4 by means of a platform. Between the assemblies 1 and 2 on the one hand, and the axles 3 and 4 on the other hand, a longitudinal casing 5 is provided which frees an internal passage in the form of a chute or tunnel open at its ends 6 and 7 and having a sufficiently large cross-section for enabling track elements 7, dimensioned for allowing the passage of trains or heavy machinery, to pass by translation through the said casing. <IMAGE>
