HALOPHOSPHATE FLUORESCENT SUBSTANTS

The halophosphate fluorescent substants were activated by the Europiums in the 2+ oxidation state. The formula of this substants is M5-nX(PO4)3:Eu2+(x). In the formula, M is composed of 3.0-4.5 gram- atom Ba, 0.5-2.0 gram-atom Ca and 0.01-1.0 gram-atom Mg; X is an element or mixture of F, Cl and Br; n is an integer (not more than 5) ; x is less than 0.2 and not less than 0.01. This fluorescent substant improves the maintenance of light flux and brightness.
