<p>The present invention relates to improved coating compositions intended to improve the characteristics of a metal substrate, especially threaded substrates. The composition incorporates at least a liquid composition containing hexavalent chromium, and a powdered metal. The composition additionally incorporates a lubricant which is solid at the temperature of use of the substrate. The invention also relates to a process for making use of these compositions and to threaded components coated in this manner.</p> |
