PURPOSE:To attain to prevent erroneous operation by simplifying the control of display without requiring centering inputting buffer, by applying centering processing to an input character corresponding to the indication of a centering input mode to directly store the same in line buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:When the indication of a centering input mode is performed, a carsor is set at the intermediate position between the next tab position or right margin position and the carsor position at that time. When a character key is pressed, first processing for storing the input character corresponding to a character at the set cursor position in line buffer memory and second processing, wherein the character line inputted in a centering input mode and stored in the line buffer memory is shifted to the left direction before the cursor is moved by one figure to the right direction, are alternately repeated. Therefore, because a display picture may always display only the the data of the line buffer memory, the control of display does not become complicated and a position, where the input data by centering is stored, can be confirmed on the display picture in a real time. As a result, erroneous operation can be also prevented. |
