PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly carry out the receiving of materials from a material feed bed and the shifting of materials onto a material aggregating bed with no waiting time, by rotatingly driving a lever provided at its both ends with receiving beds in a predetermined direction to shift materials. CONSTITUTION:A material W1 adhered thereto with magnetic powder is transferred by a feed bed 2 and is lowered along the end of the feed bed 2 to be shifted onto a stopper 45. Then, a lever 8 is turned in the direction of the arrow X to scoop up the material W1 onto a chain 18 on a receiving bed 13, and then is directly rotated to shift the material to a position indicated by W2. In this condition a drive shaft 30 is rotated to drive the chain 18 for carrying the material on the receiving bed 13 by means of a chain drive machanism laid on the lever 8, and therefore the material W2 at that position is rotated in the direction of the arrow Y or in the direction reverse thereto while flaws in the material W2 are inspected. After this inspection the lever 8 is again rotated in the direction of the arrow W to shift the material W2 which has been already inspected onto a transfer roller 46 on an aggregating bed 3 while the receiving bed 13 on the opposite side scoops up the next material on the stopper 24 to repeat thereafter the same inspection.
