PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which prevents effectively the decrease in forging capacity and the intrusion of a flash into a through-hole by forming a cylinder chamber to a lower die, housing a piston and forming a recess to the periphery of the aperture part of the through-hole to be inserted with an ejector pin connecting thereto. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder chamber 50 is formed to the lower die 24 of a forging device which brings a pair of upper dies (not shown) and the lower die 24 into proximity to each other and forges a work piece between the forming faces of both dies. The piston 52 is freely vertically movably housed into said chamber and the ejector pin 58 connecting thereto is freely slidably inserted and disposed into the through-hole 46 communicating with the cylinder chamber 50 provided vertically to the die 24. The suitable recess 60 is provided to the periphery of the hole 46 in the aperture part of the die 24 to prevent the intrusion of the flash 48 of the forging 44 into the hole 46 and to permit the safe and sure forging operation. The cylinder chamber 50 which drives the pin 58 for ejecting the forging 44 via the flash 48 upon completion of forging, etc. are contained in the die 24, by which the decrease in the pressure receiving area is averted and the decrease in the forging capacity is prevented.
