AUTOMATIC DISCRIMINATION SYSTEM FOR RADIOGRAPH

PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate a radiograph by providing an internal defect identification system for performing defect and degree sortings. CONSTITUTION:A transmission light through a radiograph 11 from a light source in a light source box 203 is picked up with an image input camera 14 and converted to a digital image data with an A/D converter 204. This data is recorded into an image frame memory 205 and transmitted to an image processing computer 207 through an interface 206. Then, the image data thus inputted is analyzed with the image processing computer 207. In this manner, a processing is performed to extract, judge and sort internal defects at a weld part.
