PURPOSE:To provide a coating material mainly consisting of a polyurethane resin obtained by copolymerization of a polyester diol and a polysiloxane compd. with a diisocyanate compd. and having a high surface resistivity at a high temp. and excellent resistance to blocking. CONSTITUTION:The coating material consists mainly of a polyurethane resin with a number-average M.W. of 8,000 or higher and a glass transition point of 50 deg.C or higher obtained by copolymerization of a mixt. (100:0.001-3 by weight) of (A) a polyester diol consisting mainly of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and having a number-average M.W. of 500-10,000 and (B) a polysiloxane compd. having at least two OH groups in one molecule, with (C) an isocyanate compd. Dicarboxylic acid for (A) is, e.g., an aromatic dicarboxylic acid such as terephthalic or 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid. Preferred (C) are xyliylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, etc.
