PURPOSE:To reduce the time required since the start of copying until the start of copying sequence and to improve copying efficiency by resetting an output device to an initial state in the stage before a copying start button is thrown. CONSTITUTION:A CPU26 detects the throw of a power souce switch 22 when said switch is thrown. The CPU references first a paper guide initializing flag INPG of an RAM25 and moves a paper guide member 8 to an inital position by turning on a transverse motor 21 immediately when said flag INPG is held set. The CPU resets said flag INPG thereafter. The CPU26 references a stapler initializing flag INST of the RAM25 in succession thereto and puts a stapler device 10 into the initial state ready to start a stapling operation immediately by turning on a stapler motor 20 when the flag INST is held set. The CPU resets the flag INST thereafter. The CPU starts a series of copying sequence when the CPU detects the throw of the copying start button thereafter. |
