PURPOSE:To stably and surely clamp both disks having different sizes of central holes without interfering with the reproducing operation of a photosensor, by putting the recessed section at the lower end of the clamp shaft of a clamping member on the projected section of the spindle shaft of a turntable facing the clamping member even thought either one of the two kinds of disks having different central holes is placed. CONSTITUTION:A clamping member 5 facing a turntable 1 is provided and a clamp shaft 4 equipped with a recessed section 4a which can house the projected section 2a of a spindle shaft 2 is fixed to the clamping member 5 by pressure-insertion, etc. Between the clamp shaft 4 and clamping member 5, an engaging member 6 equipped with the 1st tapered surface 6a which is in contact with the circumference of the central hole of a disk having the smaller central hole is elastically supported by springs 7 and retaining ring 12 under a condition where the member 6 can slide upward. Moreover, the clamping member 5 is also equipped with a clamping surface 5a which is parallel with the turntable 1 and the 2nd tapered surface 5b which is in contact with the circumference of the central hole of a disk having the larger central hole in the same direction as that of the 1st tapered surface 6a, and supported by a keep plate 8 by a flange 5c.
