Isopropanol- and ethanol-free cosmetic compositions for hair, the preparation and use thereof

Cosmetic compositions for hair which contain (A) a terpolymer of 50 to 55 mol per cent vinyl acetate, 35 to 40 mol per cent vinyl propionate and 5 to 15 mol per cent crotonic acid or a terpolymer of 10 to 15 mol per cent acrylic acid, 42 to 48 mol per cent ethyl acrylate and 37 to 48 mol per cent t-butylacrylamide, (B) an amine as neutralising agent of the formula DOLLAR F1 wherein R1 and R2 are each C1-C4-alkyl and R3 is C8-C24-alkyl, -hydroxyalkyl or -alkenyl, (C) an ethanol- and isopropanol-free solvent mixture of (C1) a C1-C2-chloroalkane or -chloroalkylene with 2 to 5 chlorine atoms, (C2) a C3-C6-alkoxyalkanol and (C3) a chlorinated C1-C2-fluoroalkane with a boiling point >/= 20 DEG C and (D) a halogen-free C3-C6-alkane as propellant, display an increased solubility of component (A) and are very suitable for use as hair sprays.
