PURPOSE:To attain the proper reception according to the state of the reception signal by detecting the discrimination signal contained in the broadcast radio wave through a detection circuit and discriminating the output of the detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of detection circuits 12-15 are applied to a discriminating circuit 16, and the circuit 16 discriminates the output signal. Then the circuit 16 produces an output H when the output signal is produced from a single detection circuit only and then produces an output L when the output signals are produced from 2 detection circuits or all detection circuits produce no output signal. Therefore the output signal corresponding to the relevant discrimination signal is produced from just one of circuits 12-15. Then a matrix circuit 18 performs a stereo separation only when the output signal of the circuit 16 is set at H and produces right and left stereophonic signals L and R. Otherwise the circuit 18 has a monaural action to produce the stereophonic sum signals equally at output terminals 19 and 20. |
