FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pipeline fitting and is designed to cut off flow of transported fluid. The gate consists of a hollow case with internal circular turning in a lower portion, of a cutting off element with a spring installed therein and of a movable rod. The rod is rigidly connected with the cutting off element. The cutting off element is made in form of a rubber cartridge with an inserted ring in an upper part. The circular spring is assembled inside the rubber cartridge. The circular spring consists of an internal ring with an external conic surface and of two external rings with internal conic surfaces. The external rings are arranged over and under the internal ring. The circular spring rests on a supporting cone. The cone is installed in the power part of the rubber cartridge. The circular spring is pressed from above with a hold-down cone. The latter is rigidly connected with the inserted ring of the rubber cartridge and tied with the movable rod. ^ EFFECT: upgraded operational reliability and service life of device. ^ 1 dwg
