PURPOSE:To prevent secondary flow to reduce the vibration of a main shaft and improve the efficiency characteristic of a water turbine by a method wherein flow regulating guides are provided in the range of curved section in the draft tube liner in the structure of tube water turbine. CONSTITUTION:In the tube water turbine, one end of the main shaft 3, to which runner vanes 5 are fixed, is supported by a water turbine shaft bearing 7, fixed in a stay ring 6 at a substantially horizontal upstream position 18 of a casing 1 for a pipeline 22 formed under the ground. The curved section 17, to which a draft tube liner 9 is attached, is provided at the downstream of the casing 1 while the other end of the main shaft 3 is extended horizontally substantially under penetrating through the casing 1 and is connected to a generator 13. In this case, a plurality of flow regulating guides 14 are provided in the range of first bent section 20 of the liner 9 in the curved section 17 at substantially radial position about the center of the liner 9 so as to fix the liner 9. |
