PURPOSE:To strengthen the bonding of materials and to facilitate handling, by using a three-layer structure, wherein a plastic supporting body and an acrylamide water gel are bonded by a derivative of methylmethacrylate macro- monomer, as a medium material for electrophoresis. CONSTITUTION:On a plastic supporting body, e.g., polyethylene terephthalate, a derivative of methylmethacrylate macro-monomer, e.g., the compound shown by the formula, is applied as a bonding agent layer. Then, polyacrylamide water gel, wherein an acrylamide compound, e.g., acrylamide, N-methyl acrylamide or the like and a bridging agent, e.g., N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide are bridged and polymerized, is formed. Thus three layers are closely contacted and a unitary structure is obtained. Since the obtained electrophoresis medium material is bonded by the compound shown by the formula, adhesion of the three-layer structure is strong, and electrophoresis and dyeing can be performed, with the electrophoresis medium layer (polyacrylamide gel film) being mounted on the supporting body. |
