ROLLER POSITION REGULATOR IN ROTARY PRESS

PURPOSE:To control the positions of a plate roller and an anilox roller, by a method wherein the shift amount of one side roller is controlled by calculation to the position where both rollers are connected with each other according to the diameter of the other roller. CONSTITUTION:A plate roller 16 and an anilox roller 17 are respectively made to be able to approach and secede with a plate roller shifting drive unit 20 and an anilox roller shifting drive unit 20'. The operation of the roller shifting drive units is controlled until the output signal from the detector which operates a signal according to the shift of the roller on one side is in accord with the output signal from the set unit which computes a distance until both rollers make contact with each other according to the diameter of the roller.
