PURPOSE:To readily and accurately measure a skew amount by calculating the skew amount on the basis of the moving distance of a slot sensor along the axial direction of a rotor core and the rotating amount of the core. CONSTITUTION:A slot sensor 15 for detecting the position of a slot by measuring a variation in the thickness of a metal layer between a rotor core 2 and a slot upon rotating of the core 2 is provided. The core 2 is rotated so that the sensor 15 slides on the basis of a signal from the sensor 15. A control calculator 17 calculates a skew amount on the basis of the moving distance of the sensor 15 along the axial direction of the core 2 and the rotating amount of the core 2. |
