NOVEL DERIVATIVES OF C-076 COMPOUNDS, THEIR PRODUCTION AND USE, AND COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THEM

Derivatives of C-076 compounds in which the 22-position has a hydroxy substituent of formula: …… wherein R is hydrogen or methyl,… are isolated from the C-076 fermentation broth of Streptomyces avermitilis. The compounds have potent anthelmintic, insecticidal, and acaricidal activity and compositions for that use are also disclosed.
