PURPOSE:To electrify uniformly a developer by simple constitution, by providing a minute uneven part on the surface of a developer carrying body opposed to a latent image carrying body, and pressing a non-magnetic material developer by a coating means consisting of an elastic body having a minute uneven part. CONSTITUTION:A developer carrying body 9 is opposed to a photosensitive drum 1 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, and turned as indicated with an arrow. A minute uneven part is provided on the surface of the developer carrying body 9. The inside of a hopper 11 is packed with a non-magnetic developer 10, a coating member 12 provided with a minute uneven part is fixed to the hopper 11 by a plate spring 14 and a fixing member 13, and the developer carrying body 9 is welded by pressure. The developer 10 advances, receiving friction between the developer carrying body 9 and the coating member 12 and it is electrified, absorbed in accordance with the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum 1 and developed. In such a way, uniform electrification and uniform distribution of the toner are executed by a simple structure, and the reliability is improved. |
