PURPOSE:To obtain the shape parameter of a Weibull distribution accurately through simple operation by drawing the lateral axis and longitudinal axis of the Weibull chart on a transparent from and obtaining the (m) ruler for the Weibull chart. CONSTITUTION:The (m) ruler for the Weibull chart is formed by drawing the lateral axis 8, longitudinal axis 9, etc., on the transparent or translucent form 11. The length of this lateral axis 8 corresponds to one division of the lateral axis of the Weibull chart or is (n) times as long as it. Further, (m) divisions 6 on the longitudinal axis 9 correspond to longitudinal axis divisions on the Weibull chart as they are or (n) times.
