PURPOSE:To prevent the obstruction in eyeshot and the contact with tableware when the device is used by arranging a filter body below the leading end of a tap pipe, and also allowing the axis of the filter body to cross the tap pipe part in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:A filter 9 consisting of a filter body 10 in which a cartridge is freely encased and from which the cartridge is freely taken out from the side and a waterway switching part 11 which protrudes to the outer side part of the filter body 10 is prepared, and the waterway switching part 11 is fixed to the leading end of the tap so that the top part of the filter body 10 may be kept out of contact with a pipe part 8. Namely, since the filter body 10 is arranged horizontally below the pipe part 8 of the tap in a space which can be mentioned as a dead space and also made to cross the pipe part 8, the obstruction in eyeshot which is considered to be a shortcoming of the conventional filter device when tableware is washed and the breakage of tableware by the contact can be eliminated. The cartridge can also be easily exchanged.
