A dielectric antenna for millimetric waves, having at least one dielectric line on a metallic baseplate and having line discontinuities which act as emitter elements. A broad, undivided dielectric plate has a multiplicity of metallic emitter elements, which are constructed as parallel rows of emitters. The rows of emitters are supplied at one end by means of a continuous metallic horn. Power distribution to the individual rows of emitters takes place before the horn transition, using waveguide technology.
