<p>A sofa-bed 10 comprising a bottom support 16 and a bottom support 80. Upstandig, lateral side elements 30 are located towards the rear at the lateral sides of the bottom unit and support a back board 44 at their upper ends. The upper support 80 is hingedly connected to the back board 44 so that it is pivotable from the sofa mode whore it acts as the sofa back and the bed mode when it is raised substantially horizontally and supported by legs 100, when it may act as a top bunk.
