PURPOSE:To secure a clutch with high performance by reinforcing a pair of resilient ring-shaped portions, which are interposed between inside surfaces of clutch plates of a friction disc, using a plurality of coupling members, and thereby enhancing durability of said ring-shaped resilient members. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped resilient member 15 fitted in the bore 13 of a clutch plate assumes an appearance of thin ring, wherein the ring-shaped part 15a is reinforced with a coupling part 15b. Each coupling part is detained in split grooves 12 in a clutch center 9 intermittently. Stress concentration locally to the ring-shaped parts is prevented, even though the clutch is engaged to lead to production of a circumferential torque in said ring-shaped part, as the coupling part is restrained owing to detention in the split groove in the clutch center. This will enhance the durability of the resilient ring-shaped members. |
