PURPOSE:To provide a polyester resin which has improved impact resistance and is freed from the problem of deterioration by dry heat, by blending a glycidyl group-contg. copolymer with a resin composed of an arom. polyester and an arom. polycarbonate. CONSTITUTION:A polyester compsn. is obtd. by incorporating 1-80pts.wt. glycidyl group-contg. copolymer composed of an alpha-olefin and a glycidyl ester of an alpha,beta-unsaturated acid in 100pts.wt. resin composed of 95-30wt% arom. polyester and 5-70wt% arom. polycarbonate. Said arom. polycarbonate has a number- average MW of 15,000-80,000 and the quantity of the copolymerized glycidyl ester in the glycidyl group-contg. copolymer is 0.5-40wt%. The glycidyl group- contg. copolymer has a melt index of 0.1-100.
