<p>PURPOSE:To reduce drop stroke to be generated at the loading of a tape cassette loading device sharply and to thin the whole device by pushing up the lower end of a back cover relatively by a cover opening member, interlocking a front cover with the back cover each other and rotating these covers from the closed position to the opened position to open the covers. CONSTITUTION:Since the lower end 5b of the back cover 5 can be relatively pushed up by the cover opening member 33 at the vertical drop of the tape cassette, the height of the cover opening member 33 can be reduced. Namely, when the front cover 4 is interlocked with the back cover 5 and rotated from the closed position to the opened position, the back cover 5 is located on the lower part of the front cover 4 at the upper part of a cassette case 3. Thereby, the lower end 5b of the back cover 5 is brought close to the height H1 of a tape drawing guide 29, an inclination guide 30, etc. and the cover opening member 33 set up so as to be abutted on the lower end 5b of the back cover 5 at the position can be reduced at its height. Consequently, the drop stroke of the tape cassette becomes H3 when the lower end 5b of the back cover 5 is relatively pushed up by the cover opening member 33.</p> |
