PURPOSE:To manufacture the material for the Al article having a significant anticorrosive effect by forming an anticorrosive Al layer consisting of two layers, intermediate and top layers on the surface of an Al substrate. CONSTITUTION:The intermediate Al layer of A1100 alloy or the like is formed on the Al substrate of an Al-Cu alloy contg. about 2-5wt% Cu or the like in an electrically conductive state. The intermediate layer has a lower corrosion potential than the substrate. The top Al layer of A7072 alloy or the like having a lower corrosion potential than the intermediate layer is then formed on the surface of the intermediate layer in an electrically conductive state. The ratio in thickness among the substrate, the intermediate layer and the top layer is adjusted to 1:(about 0.1-2):(about 0.02-0.2). The material for the Al article having a significant anticorrosive effect is obtd. The Al article includes a heat exchanger using water as a medium. |
