PURPOSE:To execute the registration adjustment with high accuracy in a multi- tube color television camera by providing a means for detecting registration errors of one original color video signal with respect to the other original color video signal. CONSTITUTION:When a multiplier circuit 24 multiplies a difference signal SD by reference and position signals HG and VG, said circuit 24 forms registration error signals SE in horizontal and vertical directions of a red video signal ER and a blue video signal EB, and supplies them to a sample and hold S/H circuit 26, which holds the signal SE in terms of sample in accordance with a sampling pulse formed on the basis of the signals HG and VG and a window pulse phiw in a sampling pulse generator circuit 25. Thus error signals SEij in a detection object area specified by the pulse phiw are supplied to an A/D convertor 27. Said convertor 27 digitizes the signal SEij and transmits it as data Dij.
