PURPOSE:To enable die stamping in the circumferential direction of the outer surface of an object to be performed simultaneously with die stamping in the axial direction of the object, by providing a die holder pose holding mechanism between a rod of one of cylinders and a die holder, and providing a die initial- position adjusting and setting mechanism at a base end. CONSTITUTION:Rods 17, 16 of a die-stamping cylinder 8 and a pressing cylinder 7 are retracted to the utmost, followed by placing a material 5 to be die-stamped on a material base 12. The rod 16 is slowly projected to lightly place a die 26 on the material 5. Then, a motor 19 is rotated to rotate a screw shaft 14, wereby a cylinder suspending and supporting member 15 is moved to adjust the die 26 to a die-stamping starting position of the material 5. With a hydraulic pressure exerted on the cylinder 8, the die holder 6 and the die 26 are moved in the circumferential direction of the outer surface of the material 5, thereby stamping a desired die. Accordingly, the die stamping in the circumferential direction can be performed simultaneously with the die stamping on a main body part which is performed without rotating the material. |
