PURPOSE:To prevent a rattle between a support plate and a wiper blade and as well to prevent abnormal sound from being generated upon operation of the wiper, by forming at least one of slits in the upper wall section of the support spring. CONSTITUTION:A resin support spring 10 has a base section 10b having its outer peripheral surface made in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the bent section 12a of a U-like hook 12. In the base section 10b there is formed a fitting section 10c which is opened at its lower section and in which a pin 9 is rotatably fitted. Further, an upper wall section 10f which is made in contact with a spring piece section formed therein with an engaging projection 10d, and with the inner surface of the U-like hook 12. A slit 10a is formed in the upper wall section 10f so that the support spring 10 may be elastically deformed in its widthwise direction. |
