The tensiometer is designed in two parts having a probe tube (10) and a pressure-measuring device (20). The pressure is measured by means of an elastically deformable membrane. For the purpose of coupling the measuring device pneumatically to the probe tube, the latter is sealed with a pierceable and self-sealing stopper (14), and fastened to the pressure-measuring device there is a hollow needle suitable for piercing said stopper. Arranged on or in the elastically deformable membrane there are mechanical-electrical transducers which can be connected to an electrical measuring and analysis device (39) which indicates the pressure corresponding to the deformation of the membrane. <IMAGE>
